It starts with a free 30-minute consultation — no paperwork required. We'll understand your situation, explain our fee structure and, if it's a good fit, send you a formal engagement letter. From there we gather your documents via our secure portal and get to work. Most clients are fully onboarded within 2 weeks.
For ongoing monthly services, we agree a fixed monthly fee before any work begins — covering your regular lodgements, calls, emails and reviews with no surprise invoices. One-off projects and special engagements are quoted upfront on a fixed-project basis. Any work genuinely outside the agreed scope is billed at our hourly rate, advised to you before we proceed.
Our ongoing engagements operate on a monthly basis — you can exit with 30 days written notice. For one-off projects such as a single tax return or company setup, there is no minimum period. Most clients choose to stay long-term because of the ongoing value they receive.
Yes, absolutely. We handle transitions any time of year. We'll contact your previous accountant for files and work certificates, and ensure there are no gaps in your compliance obligations. A mid-year switch is very common and causes no issues.
This depends on your engagement scope. A standard individual engagement includes your tax return preparation and lodgement, basic tax planning advice and year-round access to your advisor for questions. Business engagements typically add BAS lodgements, financial statements and more. We'll confirm scope in your engagement letter.
Yes. We offer monthly bookkeeping as an add-on to any business engagement. We work with Xero and MYOB, and can also clean up historical bookkeeping if needed. A fixed monthly fee applies based on your transaction volume.
Yes — and this is one of the most valuable things we do. Whether you're deciding between sole trader and company, setting up a trust, restructuring a group or planning for asset protection, we can model the tax and commercial implications and recommend the best structure for your situation. We work alongside your solicitor where legal documents are required.
No. We work with clients across Australia entirely remotely — via Zoom, email and our secure client portal for document exchange. If you're in Sydney and prefer an in-person meeting occasionally, we can arrange that, but the vast majority of our work is done remotely and our clients love the efficiency.
We use secure digital tools for all document exchange — no emailing sensitive tax documents. Your information is kept safe and organised throughout our engagement.
We aim to respond within 1 business day for all client queries. Questions within the scope of your engagement are covered — you can reach out freely without worrying about extra charges for every email. We want you to reach out — it helps us give better advice.

Yes — tax law is federal, so we can serve clients in any Australian state or territory. Our fully remote process means we can serve clients in any Australian state or territory just as effectively as being in the same city.
